The protests and government repression, which started in Belarus after the election changed the majority of the population lives and view of the world. Young people who are most opposed to the old one, the dictatorship of the regime's survival, life in the most bitter. Many students who no longer had the opportunity to continue their studies in Belarus quietly decided to seek their happiness abroad. University also offered to facilitate access for Belarusians to study in our university. Chemical and geosciences faculty also received a few students who are most interested in Pharmaceutical Chemistry Master's program. Hanna Klipan, a new member of our faculty community, also talks about her life in Belarus and the impressions she had when she came to Lithuania.

The protest and unrests in Belarus started even before the presidential elections. But after rigged elections unrests become larger. Thousands of people were arrested, used for physical violence and coercion. Hundreds of young people started to search ways to leave the country and build their future outside Belarus.

 By the decision of the management of Vilnius University, which has always been friendly to foreign students, was initiated a program at the university to encourage Belarusian students to choose to study in Lithuania. Scholarships, integration in science and society - such assistance was offered by the Vilnius University to students from Belarus.

The aim of the conference is to overview and share information about the latest achievements in bioceramic nanotechnologies with the scientific community.
